Grease Fire in Clearwater

The condo unit in this Clearwater hi-rise depicts in the Before Photo what can happen when a frying pan is left unattended on the gas range. Fortunately, our customer had a handy ABC extinguisher under the sink, so there was no structural damage. Our SERVPRO FRST fire and smoke damage techs can remove items from the kitchen and wipe down the countertops. We can use special sponges and cloths, along with proprietary detergents, to wipe down the ceiling. We can then apply an odor-killing primer to that surface before completing the second coat of paint. The cabinets can be salvaged with careful effort, much to the delight our the homeowner. We always try to salvage cupboards and other assemblies and fixtures and not replace them. The After Photo now boasts of a dark ceiling color; the backsplash is bright and clean, "Like it never even happened."
